First, I am love and journaling (journeying) in discovery. I am choosing to live outdoors, live vulnerably and dive into human experience in a Magical Forest that I a co-creating with Nature Spirits.
In 2011, I left (some believe I ran, escaped, bowed away from, transformed) from a life of average normalcy. After a life changing plunge into my sadness and fears, I dove into a dream and landed in Vilcabamba, Ecuador – a place of many amazing misfits. Synchronicity was dancing as I discovered a Magcial Forest (deep within and without) in a most sacred Andes Valley. This forest is part of the Finca Sagrada Intentional Community. The naked forest became my home and an intimate friendship has developed with the creative forces of the land. Outdoor living has blessed me with wisdom of self-sufficiency and deep-earth, nature connection
These are my stories that share the transformations of living close to the land. I hope to inspire others to make different choices.
Leisha is a registered Ayurvedic, Registered Natural Health Consultant, Certified Herbalist, Iridologist, Homeopath who specializes in using food, herbs and transformation tools as medicine. Her deep love is for the North American wild herbal remedies as taught by the Medicine Peoples of the Indigenous North. She resides in the Magical Forest living outdoors and in communion with the land offering Soul Questing Programs and Mountain Top Inca Pilgrimages. She dedicates her days to working with the soil, plants, herbs, flowers and the Nature Spirits. A 30 years gardening experience couple with her knowledge of plant medicines and natural art are transforming the forest into a very magical space. Leisha also brings Homa/Agnihotra to the land on a daily basis.
The Magical Forest is a co-creative expression of Nature and Human living in harmony. I , Leisha, gave up a “normal ” life in the western culture to seek a deeper connection to my soul path coupled with connection with the Nature of our home, earth. I landed in Vilcabamba, Southern Ecuador and serendipity guided me to a sacred valley named Chirusco. I began in collaboration with the Nature Spirits to create The Magical Forest as part of a small intentional community named Finca Sagrada (Sacred Land Farm).
Finca Sagrada is a Biodynamic, Organic and Homa (Agnihotra – ancient Vedic practice) Farm successfully living with Nature in intention and grace. The Magical Forest is a co-creative collaboration between human being and beings of Nature. We, together, create spaces where magic abounds and emanates through the characters of the plants, flowers, pathways, garden art statues and meditation spots. Flowers are arranged with salad greens and grasses weave into ground covers. Water trickles through garden art and aromatic plants tease the nose. Food, medicine and natural communion is the gift we receive.
All elements (earth, water, wind and fire) blend and dance into the scene of the Magical Forest’s fabric so that all guests feel the immense power of love and gratitude for Mother Nature and all her expressive faces. It is our desire that all visitors have a sensorium experience that leaves the musical impression of wonder, magic and peaceful harmony
Since time immemorial, people have with Nature to seek guidance, renewal and re-connection. The Magical Forest is a space for such experience. Finca Sagrada and Magical Forest offer a variety of opportunities to rest, learn, experience and witness intentional community and sacred land living.

Hi Leisha,,, I found your website on the recent video posted on Face Book . We have been communicating for a considerable time now , viewing each other’s Life experiences . As you know I am founder , creator, owner of Free Nature Retreat . Similar to Magical Forest on a smaller scale and within the Modern World. As mentioned in comment , it is a dream of mine to live even closer to Nature than I do , which at this time includes no running water, using the pristine creek as my source .cooking mostly on campfire,including washing the dishes , passive solar lighting and heat , and a privy as a toilet , I live in a 12×12 foot cabin complete with all needs . Although 1 of the guest quarters is 20 x 50 I hitch hiked out of Manhattan millions of people in 1974 , eventually landing in Asheville NC 100,000’s of people and raised my family [ 4 children now with 2 grands] then on to Black Mountain NC 10,000 population , and retired here with 12 neighbors in the surrounding square mile . Free Nature Retreat theme is to”Take time from the no time” and offers to anyone a free 1-2 week stay to re-gain their Natural self , returning to their Modern world sharing the Peace that fills them while here , is my only reward , witch suffices for me. Recently 8 months , I have made some huge steps in my personal Spiritual growth , as I am sure you have noticed on FB. YEAH !!! I made it . I hopefully will have completed the “trials and errors” of that growth in 9 months , at most 18 months.yet unlikely to go that long . My plans IF staying in USA are to rescue a Mule or two ,,, I have a 2 year degree in Thoroughbred Horse Training,,, and stay disconnected from the need to own a gasoline vehicle .I have learned and enjoyed the life style of ‘working around’ that need .I remember being 6 years old in Paterson NJ [ just outside of NYC] resting my chin on the window sill looking at the distant Bear Mountain, thinking ” someday I shall live in the mountains” so it truly has been a Life long goal . I am an Intuitive Em-path , which gives me the opportunity to ‘see’ peoples energy and what their body may need to help. I then place my hands on their “spot” and energetically ‘open the block’. Starting at 14 years old. In 2005-6 , I decided to get some formal training and attended North Carolina School of Natural Healing , giving me the knowledge of inside the human body., and continuing my ability to serve the health of other’s. Some call me a Healer , I prefer to be recognized as a ‘vehicle for your healing’. as we ALL can heal our self given the opportunity . Being an Em-path is a Gift and a Boon , as with large populations , I am inundated with other peoples energies. I have no ties here ,except serving other’s at Free Nature Retreat , at this time only several weeks a year . I have reciprocal income of close to $1000 american a month .My children are busy following their Journey’s and we only see each other a couple times a year , tho less than an hour drive . My parents are non-committal .I truly Love my home , yet am floundering within the Modern world , as it is not for me………..
All this said
……. I am seriously considering visiting Magical Gardens , see how my energy ‘fits in’ , how I could serve there , if all that is “good for all” then probably relocating there , and contributing my energies where they best serve the Mother Earth. My skills building while Loving Mother Earth , making great use of natural products shall be graciously freely released With tears of Joy doing so.
Two concerns I am aware of at this moment are Monster dog [ surely you have seen her on FB] We Love each other so deeply respectfully.and she is so well behaved , most people have never heard her voice , as she only uses it for danger warning . She enjoys using the bathroom in privacy , therefore Never in habitat-ed area’s . Choosing to stay at my heels , waiting to fetch the ball , or “taking a break” upon request . I would dearly Love to bring her with me Everyone she has met , falls immediately in Love with her.
The second concern is Free Nature Retreat . I have been at work Manifesting caretakers of quality like minded/spirited people , preferably a young couple . Now with my Spiritual growth perhaps the correct ones shall show up .Hopefully before visiting Magical Gardens , Though before rescuing Monster march 2013 , I have just walked away , staying in Belgium 4 1/2 months 2012 .UK in 1998-9- 2002-2005-2007 Florida in 2007 Maine in 2008 Ohio in 2011 , up to 3-4 months each time No locks or security ,other than a prayer to the Universe. Returning to find ALL is well. When traveling an extensive distance , I have preferred to stay long enough to become immersed in the location, people ,culture and energies. Seldom less than 6 weeks . Being frugal at heart , and traveling expense extravagant , I find this way the best enjoyment for the “buck”. I have an American and a UK passport being Naturalized in UK and Father a US citizen.
As well as being welcomed is an obvious consideration.

If you would , please take time to consider , sleep, digest this “dream” of mine . And provide feedback . In the meantime , I shall research flight expenses and Dog requirements / possibilities.. As mentioned , this will not be for a minimum of 9-10 months fruition , and possibly longer .
